(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday November 30, 2013, shortly before 3 a.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a car weaving in its lane on Wallace Ave north in Listowel.
The vehicle was pulled over by police on Main St. East, where the female driver was administered a roadside breath test which she failed. She was transported to the North Perth OPP Detachment in Listowel where she also failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Melissa ROBINSON-MCGRATH (33) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with “impaired operation of a motor vehicleâ€Â, “driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in bloodâ€Â, and “assault a peace officerâ€Â. She has to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on Wednesday January 15, 2014 to answer to these charges. She has also received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and her vehicle has been impounded for 90 days.
