Melissa HENRY – Drunk Driving, Drive While Disqualified, etc

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant detachment has charged a 24 year old woman with Drinking and Driving offences after conducting a vehicle stop at a Big Creek Road, County of Brant, ON address.

On Saturday January 31st, 2015 at approximately 3:30 am while on patrol on Big Creek Rd. Police stopped a white 2015 Ford vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation. While speaking with the driver signs of impairment by alcohol were detected. A Roadside Screening Device was administered with a Fail being registered which resulted in her arrest.

While the officer was attempting to handcuff the female a struggle ensued several times. The female was eventually handcuffed and was transported to the OPP detachment for breath tests.

Charged with Impaired Driving of a Motor Vehicle, Drive a Motor Vehicle with over the legal limit of Alcohol, Driving While Disqualified, Resist a Peace Officer and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order is 24 year Melissa HENRY of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Brantford, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
