(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 24-year-old female after investigating an incident at an Argyle Street South, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Ontario, address.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at approximately 3:52 p.m., police were called to Zehrs Markets after receiving a complaint about shoplifting. A female subsequently fled from the area however was located by police and taken into custody without incident.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 24-year-old Meghan BROOMFIELD of Haldimand County, Ontario with theft under $5,000.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charge.
