(GUELPH, ON) On Wednesday August 21, 2013, at approximately 1:50 am, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer Nicholas Oudshoorn was conducting stationary radar on Highway 6 near Kortright Avenue in the City of Guelph. A 2000 Honda Civic was clocked on the radar at 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Meaghan ADAMS age 20 of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on 16 October 2013 to answer to the charge.
