(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 21 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Parkview Drive, Hagersville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 3, 2015, at approximately 2:55 a.m., police were conducting patrols when a vehicle caught the attention of the patrolling officer. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 21-year-old Matthew Martin SMITH of Hamilton, Ontario with driving over the legal limit, drive with improper headlights, fail to surrender licence, fail to surrender insurance card and fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
