Matthew BUNN – Drunk Driving

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 28-year-old male with drinking and driving offences following a traffic stop at a Highway 6, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Friday August 19, 2016, at approximately 12:45 a.m., OPP conducted a traffic stop after a driver’s behaviour caught the officer’s attention. OPP spoke with the male driver and noticed signs of impairment by alcohol.

As a result of investigation, police have charged 28-year-old Matthew BUNN of Caledonia, Ontario with impaired driving, and driving over the legal limit.

He is to appear in Provincial Court in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.

Impaired driving is one of the “Big Four” driving behaviours that contribute to road fatalities in Ontario and that the OPP targets as part of its Provincial Traffic Safety Program (PTSP), in their efforts to save lives.
