MATHEWSON – Drunk Driving

(HALIBURTON, ON) – Members of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Mountain Street yesterday just shortly after 2:00 p.m.

Upon arrival on scene the officer determined that the male driver had been consuming alcohol.

Adam MATHEWSON, 25 years old of Minden has been charged with:

· Impaired Driving

· Driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood

A 90 day driver’s licence suspension was issued and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

The accused was released from custody and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden on June 1, 2016.
