(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Sunday, August 3, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision between two outboard vessels on Lake Eugenia in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
A 1970 Surf Master DV 150, carrying two people, and a 2005 Lund 1600 Explorer, carrying three people, collided in a narrow channel in the middle of Eugenia Lake. Two people in the Lund bass boat, a 61 year old male and a 2 1/5 year old child from Kitchener, suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. Both vessels were damaged.
Police continue to investigate.
