(MAPLETON TWP, ON) – On Saturday August 10th, 2013 at approximately 10:24pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a traffic with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado on Wellington Road 8 near Wellington Road 10 in Mapleton Township. During the investigation, suspected marihuana was turned over to police by the driver.
A male age 17 of Mapleton is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 18th, 2013 to answer to the charge.
