(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On July 30th, 2016 at approximately 9:50 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report that three males were causing a disturbance on Main Street by attempting to start a fight and yelling profanities. One of these males was located by Police and when this male was being apprehended he resisted arrest and assault a Police Officer in doing so.
After a short foot chase this male was arrested.
Charged with “Causing a Disturbance” and “Assault with intent to resist arrest” is Marco DI LUCIANO 23 years old from Maple, Ontario. First appearance is September 6th, 2016 in Collingwood court.
Fortunately the above Police Officer received only minor injuries in this altercation.
