(MUNICIPALITY OF PERTH WEST, ON) On Sunday May 23, 2010 shortly after 5 p.m. Perth County OPP officers were called to a residence on Clayton St. in Mitchell where a man reported having been hit by a pellet.
Police investigation revealed that the man was on his property when he heard voices and activity on the other side of the Thames River at the extension of Herbert St. The man walked towards the river when he heard a pellet gun go off and felt a pellet strike him on the forearm. Officers checked the area across the river but were unable to locate anyone.
