(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment is conducting a death investigation at a Concession Road #2, Walpole, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Monday May 11th, 2015 at approximately 1:50 pm Emergency Services were called to the Imperial Oil Refinery after a labourer was found to have suffered life threatening injuries.
Investigation has revealed that a labourer identified as 34 year old Christopher POWLESS of Brantford, ON had fallen from an exterior caged ladder. As a result of the fall, he sustained life threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the attending Coroner.
No foul play is suspected in this death.
The Ministry of Labour has been notified.
