Police received a call from Barrie Transit with regards to property left on a city bus. The driver located a backpack that had been left behind by a passenger. When the driver tried to determine who owned the bag, he located a large quantity of marihuana. Barrie Transit called police to attend.
A short time later the owner of the bag called Barrie Transit to retrieve his property. Police were there to meet the owner of the bag. A 21 year old Port McNicoll male was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Approximately 1 pound of marihuana was seized.
