The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a break and enter in Chatham.
On November 21, 2013 police responded to a break and enter on Indian Creek Road. At this time an unknown suspect forced their way into the business causing about $800 damage. Once inside the suspect stole alcohol valued at approximately $40. Through investigation, the man responsible for the break and enter was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night, police located the man and he was arrested. Allan Deacon, 19 years, of Lorne Avenue in Chatham has been charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
