The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On December 6, 2013, police responded to a residence on Park Avenue East in Chatham in regards to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation, a 51-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and assault. He was released from custody with conditions pending a future court date. On March 5, 2014, a surety revocation warrant was issued.
Yesterday morning just before 9:00 a.m. the man attended court to answer to his charges and he was arrested on the outstanding warrant. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
