On the 19th of March 2014, Members of the Street Crime Drug Unit were conducting a drug related investigation in the area of Mapleview and Highway 400. As a result a 38 year old Mississauga male and 21 year old Toronto male were arrested for possession of a controlled substance x4 and possession for the purpose of trafficking x4. Seized were various quantities of Heroin, Crack Cocaine, Powder Cocaine, Fentanyl Patches, and Percocet’s, all with a street value totaling approximately $20,000. Officers also seized as a result of their investigation a quantity of cash and a vehicle used during the commission of an offence. Both males were held pending a bail hearing.
