MALE ON BICYCLE OBSERVED ENTERING VEHICLE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment were contacted by an alert citizen after noticing a suspicious male at an Argyle Avenue, Delhi, Norfolk County, ON address.

On Tuesday, November 20, 2013 at approximately 5:06 p.m., an alert citizen observed a suspicious male that was riding a bicycle breaking into a vehicle that was parked in a parking lot. The alert citizen confronted the male at which time the male fled towards Northern Avenue.

The male is being described as a white male, 40 years of age, black medium length hair and was wearing a black hooded sweater.

Through investigation it has been determined that several items were taken from a vehicle which consisted of a portable dvd player, jacket and a quantity of Canadian currency.

Police are requesting all residents to be vigilant and ensure their vehicles are locked at all times and valuable items removed.

The police are also reminding all Norfolk County residents that if you see something, say something. If you see suspicious persons or behaviour roaming the area, call the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
