(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – Grey County Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a 19 year old male for Aggravated Assault in connection to a stabbing that occurred in Priceville, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, early Sunday morning.
On Sunday, October 26, 2014 at approximately 5:05 a.m., Grey County OPP received a report of a physical altercation involving six males, resulting in one of the males getting stabbed with a knife.
The 20 year old stabbing victim was air lifted to a Toronto hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
The accused has been charged with Aggravated Assault. He is in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2014.
All the parties involved reside in the Municipality of Grey Highlands and are known to each other. Alcohol was a factor in the incident.
The Grey County OPP Crime Unit continue to investigate with the assistance of South Bruce OPP, Bruce Peninsula OPP and the Mount Forest OPP Forensic Identification Unit.
