Male Charged With Voyeurism After Camera Found At Arena

(TOWNSHIP OF ESSA) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a 30 year old Bradford man with one count of “Voyeurism” contrary to Section 162 (1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

This follows an investigation by the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit which started on February 10th, 2015, when members were called to the Thornton arena. An employee at the arena had located as suspicious camera.

Further investigation revealed that the camera had been used to take unsuspecting photographs, which were still frames of adults only.

The male subject was released on a recognizance and will appear in Bradford Court on April 30th, 2015.
