(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Thursday, March 13, 2014 at approximately 1:56 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a request from Grey County Emergency Services (EMS) to assist with an intoxicated male who needed medical attention on Nelson Street West in the town of Meaford.
The victim was taken to the Meaford Hospital where he was examined and released.
Barry George DIAMOND, 41 years, of Neyaashinigming First Nation, was arrested and charged with public intoxication under the Liquor Licence Act. He was held until sober at the Meaford OPP Detachment.
