(HALIBURTON, ON) – On March 01, 2014 Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to an assault at the A.J. LaRue arena in Haliburton Ontario. At approximately 10:15 am a confrontation between two males took place inside the arena and one of the males assaulted the other with a hockey stick. As a result of the investigation, Graham NEAVE age 29, from Minden Ontario was charged with Assault with a Weapon. The victim, a 27 year old employee at the arena was not injured during the incident. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden on May 07 2014.
