MALE CHARGED AFTER OFFICER LOCATES STOLEN BICYCLE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 17 year old male after police investigated an incident at a Marshall Avenue, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, October 24, 2014, at approximately 4:22 p.m., officers were patrolling the area of Marshall Avenue and Northern Avenue when a bicyclist attracted an officer’s attention. The bicyclist was subsequently stopped and investigated.

As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged a 17 year old male with possession of stolen property under $5,000.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
