(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On April 8th, 2011, members of the South Bruce OPP set up a R.I.D.E. checkpoint at the intersection of Highway 9 and Side road 5 in Greenock Township. At 11:48 pm, a car stopped at the R.I.D.E. and officers could smell alcohol at the driver’s window. A passenger in the car was found violating his probation order by consuming alcohol. 22 year old Michael McPHERSON of Huron Township was arrested and charged for Breach of Probation. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on April 9th, 2011.
