(Otonabee South Monaghan Township, ON) – On Friday, November 07, at approximately 2:30 a.m. members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a disturbance that occurred at a Serpent Mounds Road residence.
Attending officers were advised that 29 year old male, a 58 year old male, and a 44 year old female all off Otonabee South Monaghan Township had become involved in a argument that quickly became assaultive. Emergency services were called as a result of the disturbance and OPP and Para Medics attended the scene. The 58 year old male and 44 year old female received medical treatment for injuries received in the assault,
As a result of the investigation the 29 year old male, was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Assault with a Weapon, Assault and Fail to Comply with Probation.
He was held in custody with a bail hearing scheduled for November 7, 2014 to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts.
The identities of the parties involved are being withheld due to the nature of the offence.
