(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – The East Algoma OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) received a complaint on March 3, 2016 of a possible theft. The victim attended the Elliot Lake detachment and stated that a debit card and $35.00 had been stolen.
Investigation revealed the items had been a purse and the accused used the debit cards several times without the permission of the victim`.
Charged with the following is Sweetcinnamon Marie LUXTON (24) of Elliot Lake.
Theft under $500. 00 as per sec. 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada (X6)
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on May 3, 2016.
