(MITCHELL, ON) On Friday morning April 2nd 2010 shortly after midnight a Perth County OPP officer on patrol stopped a vehicle operated by a male driver on Wellington St. in Mitchell.
The officer administered a roadside screening device test which the driver failed. The driver was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he registered over .80 mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
Luke VanNes (19) of the Township of Perth South was charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content. He is to appear in Stratford court on May 3rd 2010 to answer to this charge. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
