(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 54 year old male with a Drinking and Driving offence at a Hwy #6, Hagersville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Monday December 15th, 2014 at approximately 8:50 pm Police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a possible impaired driver travelling south on Hwy #6 near Hagersville. The suspect vehicle described as a white panel van was located by a responding officer in a Hagersville business parking lot.
While the officer was speaking with the driver of the van signs of impairment by alcohol was detected which led to his arrest.
Charged with Driving a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol is 54 year old Luis LIMA of Hamilton, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charge.
