(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday April 11, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) officers in Listowel were dispatched to a residence on Livingstone Ave. North in Listowel in response to a reported domestic assault.
Investigation determined that an assault had occurred and a male suspect was identified. Officers located and arrested the male outside of a residence which was on fire at 433 Inkerman St in Listowel. Robert SAVAGE (35) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon while being prohibited from doing so, criminal harassment, overcoming resistance to commit indictable offence, attempt break and enter dwelling house, and arson.
He is being held in custody and is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on Thursday April 18, 2013 for a bail hearing.
