An 18 year old Maple female flagged down a police officer on Dunlop Street after Security at a nightclub would not allow her entry. The female provided the officer with identification for a 21 year old female. She insisted it was her and complained that security would not accept it. After a few questions by police, it was obvious she was using someone else’s identification. The female continued to state the identification was hers until she was about to be arrested for Obstructing a Peace Officer. She then provided her true name and was issued a ticket under the Liquor Licence Act for presenting as evidence of age, documentation not lawfully issued to a person. The total fine was $125 and the identification was seized.
