(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On December 04, 2015 at 3:40pm officers with the Ontario Provincial Police had conducted a RIDE check at the intersection of County Roads 19 and 23, in the Ward of Ameliasburgh. At this time a motor vehicle was stopped and officers observed that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
The male driver, 57-year old Leslie RAY of Ameliasburgh, ON was arrested and is charged with Operation With Over 80mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on December 24, 2014.
