(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a female as a result of a report of a disturbance on a local transit bus.
At approximately 2:15pm on the 5th of March 2014 OPP officers were called to attend to Sanford Fleming Drive in Collingwood for a report of a disturbance on the Wasaga Beach -Collingwood Link transit bus. Interactions with the unruly female passenger found that she was under the influence of alcohol. A brief struggle ensued as officers attempted to arrest the female however she was eventually taken into custody and transported to Collingwood detachment.
Charged is 27 year-old Laura SEED of Wasaga Beach, she is facing charges of assault, fail to comply with probation order, resist peace officer and two counts of breach of recognizance, . She was held for bail court this morning in Barrie.
