(ADJALA TWP, ON) – On Tue 21 Jun 2016 at 8:08 am police were dispatched to report of a 36 year old male dump truck driver being struck with a shotgun on the 8th Concession in Adjala Township of Simcoe County.
Preliminary investigation reveals that driver and land owner got in a dispute over how dump trucks were being driven across his property. A verbal argument ensued with the victim resulted in property owner allegedly fetching a shot gun and returning to the victim, pointing the gun at him, and jabbing the gun into the victim’s groin. Victim treated for minor injury and released
Police attended and arrested Francesco COMMISSO (67) of Adjala Township for the following offences:
Assault with weapon
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Pointing a Firearm
All offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused will be held for bail hearing on June 22, 2016 at Ontario Court Justice in Barrie, Ontario.
