(LAMBTON, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were kept busy with over 130 calls for service during the last weekend of 2013. Weather and nature kept the OPP officers busy with around 20, ice or deer related collisions, on the 402 highway and around the county. Minor injuries were reported in one rollover motor vehicle collision which took place December 29, 2013 around 3:30 a.m. on Kimball road in St. Clair Township, ON.
Lambton OPP maintained the RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) programs and the motoring public did a fine job with over 300 vehicles checked during RIDE and not one arrest. Excellent results as we head into 2014.
