Police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the drive thru lane at MacDonald’s Restaurant in Arnprior on Friday January 17 at approximately 12:50am. Upon arrival officers noted the male driver of a Ford 150 pick-up truck had been drinking. After he failed a roadside alcohol screening test the male was arrested and transported to the Arnprior satellite office for further breath tests. As a result of the investigation Kyle ALLARD 28 of Petawawa was charged with driving over 80mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on February 12. Provincial Constable Raul Pasta Junior led the investigation.
