(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Highway Safety Division (HSD) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle at 142km/h in the 80km/h zone on Highway 7A yesterday just before 9:00am.
Christopher KONG (age 33) of Aurora, ON was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. His driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and his 2010 Toyota was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 13, 2016.
