(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – While conducting general patrol in the town of Bracebridge on Sunday night, December 13th, 2015 shortly after 10:00 p.m. in the area of Taylor Road and Manitoba Street, a member of Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into the suspicious behaviour of a motorist. As a result of that investigation, police arrested and charged 66 year-old Klaus REGERT of Huntsville with Driving while his Ability was Impaired CC 253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 253(1)(b).
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on January 12th, 2016 to answer to his charges. The accused received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded.
