During the week of June 16 – June 21, 2015 there were 103 calls for service. There were ten motor vehicle collisions; three were related to wild animals.

FIRE RESULTS IN CHARGES
(Pikwakanagan, ON) On Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the early hours Killaloe OPP responded to a fire located on Pangishinimo Inamo. Officers arrived on scene and two trailers were on fire. No one sustained injuries. Provincial Constable Corey Briscoe has charged Derek HEFFERN, 50 years of age of Pembroke with
– Arson, Contrary to section 434 of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm, Contrary to section 264.1(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Break and Enter a Dwelling to commit a Criminal Offence, Contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Uttering Threats to Damage Property, Contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Trespass to Night contrary to section 177 of the Criminal Code of Canada
HEFFERN is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court on July 15, 2015.
BREAK AND ENTER
(Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Township, ON) Provincial Constable Chris Miller is investigating the break and enter to a business located on Evergreen Lane. IMPAIRED DRIVING AND CONTROLLED DRUG AND SUBSTANCE ACT CHARGES
(Algonquin Provincial Park, ON) On June 19, 2015 at approximately 12:30pm, Provincial Constable Ryan Szczygiel responded to a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Rock Lake Road. Further investigation led to Christopher GLOWACKI, 29 of Mississauga being charged with
– Impaired Driving contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Over 80mg contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Marihuana contrary to section 4(1)(d) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
GLOWACKI is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court on July 15, 2015.
Szymon HRYNIEWICZ, 29 years of age of Mississauga was charged in relation to this occurrence with
– Possession of Marihuana contrary to section 4(1)(d) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.

THEFT
(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) Killaloe OPP are investigating the theft of a wood splitter from a residence located on Opeongo Road. Sometime between June 18, 2015 and June 20, 2015 unknown person(s) removed the wood splitter. If anyone has information contact the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
