During the week of July 20 – July 29, 2015 there were 164 calls for service. There were fourteen motor vehicle collisions; three were related to wild animals.

DRUG CHARGES
(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) On July 20, 2015 at 4:15pm Provincial Constable Jason Golds conducted a motor vehicle stop on Highway 60. The driver, Brandon ST-ONGE, 21 years of age of Rockland was charged with
– Possession of Marihuana over 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– Possession of Marihuana for the purpose of trafficking under 30kg contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
– Speeding contrary to section 128 of the Highway Traffic Act.
ST-ONGE is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court on September 2, 2015.
THEFT
(South Algonquin Township, ON) Killaloe OPP are investigating the theft of a red kayak. Sometime between July 25 and July 27, 2015 unknown person(s) removed the kayak from a residence located on Galeairy Lake Road. If anyone has information contact the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
