(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On December 8th, 2015, at approximately 10:30pm officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol when they observed a motor vehicle being driven in an erratic manner.
The officers stopped the motor vehicle eastbound on Old Highway 2. Following an investigation it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Kevin WILLIAMS, 48, of Quinte West has been charged with:
Care and Control While Impaired by Alcohol, Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Care and Control Over 80mgs, Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Driving while under Suspension 53(1) HTA
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on January 7th, 2016.
