Kevin CAMPBELL Arrested For Possession Of Stolen Property

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have arrested and charged a local man with Possession of Stolen Property following an investigation that took place yesterday morning (07Mar).

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. on March 7, 2019 Huron OPP officers received a call from a citizen that reported a suspiciously parked vehicle just off of Orchard Line.

Within minutes an officer arrived on scene whereupon he located a male driver inside his vehicle. His vehicle had become stuck and disabled in the snow. Upon further investigation the investigating officer found the male to be in possession of several stolen items. As a result, the driver was placed under arrest and was subsequently taken into custody. Two of the stolen items recovered by police included a stolen cell phone and a stolen accessible parking permit.

Kevin CAMPBELL, 25 years of age of South Huron has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000. He remains in custody with a bail hearing scheduled for today’s date at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
