Kenneth James SAWATZKY – Drunk Driving

(WIARTON, ON) – On June 7, 2016 at 8:56 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver operating a GMC Sierra pick-up truck, on Berford Street, Wiarton, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

Police located the driver and found that he had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to the Chatsworth OPP detachment for breath tests, in which he failed.

Kenneth James SAWATZKY, age 45, from South Bruce Peninsula has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 mgs. His vehicle was impounded and his driver’s licence suspended. He is required to appear in the Owen Sound Court of Justice on June 30, 2016 to answer to the charges.
