Kenneth Coleman – Drunk Driving

(Central Huron, ON) At approximately 11:00 pm on July 13, 2010 Huron OPP officers were on the lookout for a red Corvette being operated by an alleged impaired driver. Information was called into the police by a retail establishment after the driver of the Corvette was refused service because he appeared to be impaired.

Officers located the vehicle and driver on Orchard Line. After speaking with the driver, he was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician and provided two samples of his breath. The results of the breath tests confirmed that the male had a blood alcohol level approximately two times above the legal limit.

As a result of the tip and follow up investigation, Kenneth COLEMAN (69) of Central Huron has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He will answer to his charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 13, 2010. His licence was suspended for 90 days as per statute.
