(Kemptville, ON.) – Between July 25th and July 31st, the Kemptville Office of North Grenville Ontario Provincial Police investigated 110 general occurrences: 30 Kemptville, 59 Municipality of North Grenville, 11 Village of Merrickville – Wolford and 10 on Highway 416.
Sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on July 23rd, a backpack containing fishing equipment and a Go Pro camera were stolen from a vehicle parked at the boat launch off of Muldoon Road, North Grenville. Police are reminding the public to keep unattended vehicles locked and windows closed at all times and keep valuables out of sight.
Sometime between July 19th and 26th, two green 16 foot metal gates were stolen from South Gower Ball Park, North Grenville. The gates were used to divide the front and back areas of the park. The investigation is ongoing.
On July 29th, Police were dispatched to a break and enter at the South Gower Ball Park Pavilion. The culprit(s) entered the building and discharged a fire extinguisher. The investigation is ongoing.
