(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On March 2nd, 2014 at approximately 12:40 a.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police while monitoring traffic flow on River Road West, observed motor vehicle that was westbound exhibiting signs of impairment. This motor vehicle was followed a short distance and was safely stopped on Mosley Street near 29th Street.
A further Police investigation of the driver of this vehicle revealed that she was operating this motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Charged with “Impaired Operation†and “Exceed 80 mgs†is Kelly WARCOP 34 years old from Wasaga Beach. First appearance is March 25th, 2014 in Collingwood court.
This individual has also had her motor vehicle impounded for 7 days and her drivers’ licence suspended for 90 days.
