(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of a kayak and various equipment that was taken from a residential driveway.
On June 24, 2015 an officer attended the Coulter Drive residence to initiate the investigation. Stolen was a 2011 Necky Manitou II tandem kayak, red and yellow in colour with a value of $1 500 along with two life jackets, two paddles, two foam racks and two transport wheels. The total value of items stolen is approximately $2 200.
