(NORWICH, ON.) – On April 12, 2015 at approximately 3:51 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on patrol, observed a vehicle travelling northbound on Stover Street, Norwich being driven in an erratic manner.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle and after a short suspect apprehension pursuit the vehicle stopped.
As a result of investigation, police have charged the 18 year old driver, Justin BUCK of Norwich under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Driving While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle (Alcohol)
Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer
Novice violation BAC above zero ~ Highway Traffic Act
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on May 19, 2015.
