(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 31-year- old female after police investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Highway 24, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at approximately 2:27 a.m., police were called to investigate a single motor vehicle collision at Highway 24 and Concession 11.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a motor vehicle left the roadway and entered the west ditch of Highway 24. The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 31-year-old Julie FITCH of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
