Julie Charbonneau – Drunk Driving

(GODERICH, ON) – At approximately 2:30 a.m. on July 16th, a Huron OPP officer conducted a traffic stop in Goderich after observing a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. Upon speaking to the driver it was determined that she was impaired by alcohol. The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Goderich detachment to meet with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician in order to provide two samples of her breath.

The results of the two tests confirmed that the driver had a blood alcohol level that was above the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Julie CHARBONNEAU (28) of Manitoba has been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She will answer to her charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 12, 2011. Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days as per statute. LP11195451
