(ESPANOLA, ON)- On December 10, 2016, members of the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) established a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) initiative on Lee Valley road in the Town of Massey.
At approximately 11:28 a.m., officers had occasion to check a vehicle occupied by a male who stopped at the R.I.D.E. program. It was found the vehicle was being operated with an expired validation sticker and the male driver a suspended driver.
The driver, Joshua STEWART, 29 years of age from Sagamok, was arrested and charged with: Driving while under suspension, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on January 12, 2017, to answer to his charge.
