(South Huron, ON) – Two Exeter males have been charged following a brawl on July 6, 2011 in Exeter. The incident was directed at the involved victims and is not believed to pose a threat to the general public. The fight began at the north end of Exeter and it quickly developed into a chase between the accused and the victims that wound through the streets of Exeter. The incident came to an end on Main Street in the downtown area where the brawl actually occurred.
The investigation was large and numerous witnesses were interviewed by police. As a result, Chad MORGAN (30) of South Huron was charged with one count of Assault With a Weapon, one count of Assault, one count of Theft Under $5,000 and one count of Criminal Harassment. He was held in custody pending a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 7th.
In addition, Joshua MAVER (29) of South Huron was also charged with one count of Assault With a Weapon, one count of Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, one count of Dangerous Driving, one count of Breach Probation and one count of Mischief Under $5,000. He was also held in custody pending a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 7th.
